Recently there has been a google algorithm change that may have affected your websites or blogs. The changes have been quite subtle so some people may have not noticed the change.If you have a low quality site you will most likely be affected. Low quality sites are ones that do not have unique content and do not add any value to the reader, content that is not related to their niche or not useful are losing rank as well.If you use a auto blogging software which scrapes content from other websites you are also affected.
The latest google algorithm change will benefit websites that have high quality content, if your website falls into this category you should see an increase in traffic. Personally I have not seen a drop in my rankings, they have either stayed in the same position or have increased their rank. I am happy about the changes and it definitely rewards blogs and websites that are of good quality and that provide value to the reader.
This change has only taken place in the US but it will slowly be applied to worldwide search results. Article directories have also been affected as well.Some examples are ezinearticles,associated content,hubpages.Reports that I have read state that they have lost up to 90% of their traffic. So if you want your websites and blogs to benefit from this change I would focus on adding quality content and do not keyword stuff your articles.
Lately auto blogging has been very popular among people who want to make some cash online, but this is the wrong way to go about it if you are serious about earning a full time income from your blogs. By concentating on building an authority blog you are more likely to see success in the long term and be regarded as an expert in your niche.Do not copy content from other websites instead write the articles yourself or hire a writer to do the writing for you.
